“My ‘Mom’ says she named me Slater because my coat has beautiful streaks like slate.  My brothers and I were born to a stray kitty and lived the first months of our lives on the streets.  Fortunately a kind woman found us and got us into a foster home.  I *really* like being in a home.  I start purring whenever my foster mom pets me.  I really enjoy that.  I’ve discovered I really like making new friends.
