Domestic Short Hair (medium coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Small
White/Tabby DSH
Roxie is a young mother who was found during the bad storms in April 2016. She had four small kittens then, but unfortunately, could not be caught and moved her kittens. She returned to her original finder's home in June with only one kitten. She and the kitten (Charlie - also up for adoption), were both trapped, spayed/neutered, given all their shots and placed in as a foster in my home.
Roxie is very small and timid, but she has come a long way since June. She does not like fast movements or really loud noises and would probably do best in a home with no children. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and has never scratched my grandchildren, but she is leary and will just hide if things get too loud. This girl will prove to be a close companion for the right home. She wants to be with you and loves to be loved. She just need someone willing to give her time to adjust. As her foster, if I did not already have three cats of my own, I would keep her myself - I really would. She's special. She is neither afraid of nor aggressive toward my other cats. They don't seem to bother her at all! She would probably be fine with a small dog as well. (I think my Siamese adores her. He was the first to befriend her and her kitten and hangs out with them all the time. Because she is still adjusting, she will not be at any PetsMart adoption days, but you are invited to visit her in my home. I'm sure you will fall in love with her like I have.
