rescued from an apt. complex that was harmful to cats

A young couple brought Charlie to us very severly injured by unknown means. He had to have immediate orthopedic surgery by a specialist. Charlie had a steel rod placed in his leg, and was removed after six weeks of healing. Charlie had been caged for that entire time, and remained playful and talkative and just did awesome - especially since cats aren't too crazy about being caged. He demanded attention and was very demonstrative in his relationship with his foster parents the entire time.   Just a wonderful and unique feline.

Charlie is now running around like a regular cat but with a very unusual demeanor! He is very playful and never gives up! At first he kept "missing" his jumps to the couch or chairs - but finally built up his strength to accomplish his goals!!! And boy - is he ever a character!!   The one photo of him in his "chair recliner" position just looks like he's waiting for his humans to hand him the remote control so he can change the channel to "The Cats From Hell"!! He really likes Jackson, and can relate to some of those more challenged kitties!    And what a lover. He is so affectionate and loves to be loved and then return the hugs and kisses!

Charlie's other favorite position is to lay on his back - belly up - with bottom legs spread and front legs half folded.   He gets along with other cats and seems so well-adjusted for a cat that has been through so much in his young life.

So Charlie says "Look out world 'cause here I come! I'm excited about my Forever home and family and can't wait to move on the the next exciting adventure in my life! Come and see me at Petsmart on Saturdays on 290West and Spring Cypress!!   I'll be there ready to rock 'n roll!!"
